New Restaurant Opening - INKO NITO

The wait is over. A brand new restaurant has landed in Carnaby, straight from L.A, INKO NITO, the new casual dining hotshop, combining laid-back dining with innovative flavours that you have to try.

The new concept from creator and co-founder of Zuma restaurants, ROKA, Oblix and Florida’s ETARU Rainer Becker is the place to go for bold sharing plates ideal for dynamic dining. Think dishes cooked over an open robata grill including Beef Cheek, spicy Korean miso and picked daikon with butter lettuce or Bone marrow, smoked soy, garlic toast and shallot.

New Opening - Nieves Barragan Opens Sabor Restaurant

The driving forces behind Barrafina's success, Chef Nieves Barragan and José Etura have brought their culinary expertise to Heddon Street in the form of Sabor, an authentic Spanish restaurant. Expect an open kitchen experience like the tapas bars of Andalucía, with Nieves’ take on regional dishes from across Spain, including Basque country and Catalonia. As well as a bar serving traditional sips, upstairs, there is a focus on the seafood cuisine of Galicia and Castile - with octopus and suckling pig set to be a speciality.

Sabor (aka  ‘flavour’ in Spanish) focuses on encapsulating the flavours of the culinary duo’s native Spain, taking diners on a journey across the regions. To facilitate this journey, Sabor will have three distinct areas – a restaurant, bar, and upstairs asador.

Restaurant Opening - Pastaio Opens Its Doors In Carnaby

Linguini lovers, listen up. Brand new restaurant Pastaio, dedicated to all things pasta, has opened at 19 Ganton Street in Carnaby. Stevie Parle, chef and well-established restaurateur, is the brains behind Pastaio, and promises to serve fresh, high quality and fresh pasta made daily by hand in a dining space designed by Tom Dixon’s Design research Studio (cue Instagram).

Pastaio, translated simply as one who makes pasta by hand, is the place for a plate of comforting, fresh pasta with playful drinks; how about a Prosecco or Aperol slushie? The concise menu offers simple, seasonal and affordable dishes; why not try the Wild Mushrooms, Garlic & Olive Oil Tagliatelle, Crab, Courgette, tomato & Marjoram Fusilli, or Slow Cooked Sausage Sauce Malloredus? 

'Breddos Tacos' comes to Carnaby Street, London

The wait is over, every Mexican food lover’s dream has just come true - Breddos Tacos’ first West End restaurant is now open at 26 Kingly Street, London.

Westfield London is  welcoming a pop-up Vogue Café this month, celebrating 100 years of British Vogue. Open from 27 June until 25 September 2016, the Vogue Café pop-up will ‘takeover’ L’Orchidée in the heart of The Village.

At Vogue Café customers will be able to relax and unwind throughout the Summer, while sipping on a specially created Vogue 100 Champagne cocktail or a glass of Vogue 100 Punch, designed to help them cool down after a long day of shopping. A traditional English afternoon tea will also be on offer, alongside a delicious array of macarons, fresh sandwiches, classic sweet treats, hot drinks and other beverages.

Rooftop Retreat: Notch

The newest rooftop in London is top Notch. Transformed from last year’s peaceful garden know as Roofnic, the fourth floor of London Marriott Park Lane is now a buzzing sky-high industrial playground. Secretly tucked away on the west side of Oxford Street near Marble Arch, you will find a door (between Evans and a souvenir shop) which will guide you up to Notch and reveal this Williamsburg warehouse come Berlin yard sale space.
