Linguini lovers, listen up. Brand new restaurant Pastaio, dedicated to all
things pasta, has opened at 19 Ganton Street in Carnaby. Stevie Parle, chef and
well-established restaurateur, is the brains behind Pastaio, and promises to
serve fresh, high quality and fresh pasta made daily by hand in a dining space
designed by Tom Dixon’s Design research Studio (cue Instagram).
Pastaio, translated simply as one who makes pasta
by hand, is the place for a plate of comforting, fresh pasta with playful
drinks; how about a Prosecco or Aperol slushie? The concise menu offers simple,
seasonal and affordable dishes; why not try the Wild Mushrooms, Garlic &
Olive Oil Tagliatelle, Crab, Courgette, tomato & Marjoram Fusilli, or Slow
Cooked Sausage Sauce Malloredus?
Add some sharing plates and starters to your
meal with Fried Mozzarella, Nduja and Honey Sandwiches, Cured Meats and Sweet
Pickles, or Clams cooked in Butter & Grillo. Room for more? Try a classic
Tiramisu, Cannoli, Ricotta, Orange & Saffron, or Chocolate & Cherry
Tart. Not to mention their range of freshly made ice creams too.
