Whistles men's store opens in East London: 20-25 October 2015

To mark Whistle's first year, the brand is opening a temporary men's store with their full AW15 collection at East London’s Protein gallery. Fashionistas are invited to see the exclusive Whistles x Edwin collaboration, and to enjoy free food, drinks, and talks throughout the week.

Featuring:
Bureau for Visual Affairs talk on digital branding: On Wednesday 21st at 6.30pm Simon Piehl, the founder of design studio Bureau for Visual Affairs, will be giving a talk on taking brands into the digital space. With clients such as the Tate, Damien Hirst, Whistles, the Guggenheim, and the BBC as well as over 20 years of experience in the industry.
Whistles x Edwin: As part of their first year celebrations, Whistle's have collaborated with Edwin for a new take on their ED-80 jean. Available in limited numbers, they will launch exclusively online and in-store on Tuesday 20th October 2015.
Artwork by the Bread Collective: Whistles has commissioned The Bread Collective, a network of creatives working across art direction, graphic design, typography, and video, to create original works for inside the space.
Free beer and jerky: Go after work on Friday 23rd between 5pm and 7pm to join them for happy hour with free beer from Swedish brewers Pistonheads and snacks from British Beef Jerky.
Free Golazos de Chicharrón: Chia seed steamed buns, the Peruvian delicacy, will be in-store all day Thursday 22nd as made by the experts at Cerviche
Free pies: The bakers from Eat My Pies will be providing a selection of fresh scotch eggs and hand held pies throughout the day on Saturday 24th.
Free coffee and doughnuts: Coffee from Cream Café will be available all week, whilst Tuesday 20th will see deliveries of St. John's Bakery's fresh doughnuts.
