Chloe Baines is an eponymous fashion brand established in London and created by Coventry born fashion designer, Chloe Baines. Baines’ interest and career in luxury and experimental fashion began at Coventry University, where she completed an Art and Design foundation course. It was there that Chloe Baines began to make conceptual fashion films, using found materials to create looks that were featured in her work.
Chloe graduated with a bachelor’s degree from
London College of Fashion in Fashion Design and went on to work for British Fashion Designer, Gareth Pugh. Her career progressed into Styling and Visual
Merchandising and since then, she has established her own fashion brand. Chole continues
to use found and up-cycled materials, driving an ethos surrounding sustainable
and ethical practice within a luxury fashion market.
Interested in the art of craft and community,
Chloe Baines works with a number of collaborators and strives to implement
positive change through experimental use of recycled materials. Baines has also
been involved in a number of community projects that include creative/craft
workshops, guest lecturing, mentoring and discussions supporting the rights of
the LGBTQIA+ community.
