The Collection Is Haute For The High Street 
Being a storied Parisian couture house, Balmain is famous for its super-womanly silhouettes and lashings of rich embellishments, with a fierce twist added by Olivier for the Insta-generation. ‘All the elements that make up the powerful Balmain silhouette are in this collection,’ Olivier tells us exclusively. ‘I looked at everything I’ve achieved since becoming creative director. The intricacy of the embellishment, the strong-shouldered tailoring… finish your look with the high-waisted belt, and you’re totally Balmain.’

The collaboration that the whole fashion world has been waiting for, Balmain x H&M, is launching on 5th November 2015!

Balmain is a storied Parisian couture house, famous for its super-womanly silhouettes and lashings of rich embellishments, with a fierce twist added by its famous designer Olivier Rousteing for the Insta-generation. "All the elements that make up the powerful Balmain silhouette are in this collection", Olivier said recently about his new collection. "I looked at everything I’ve achieved since becoming creative director. The intricacy of the embellishment, the strong-shouldered tailoring… finish your look with the high-waisted belt, and you’re totally Balmain". 
The Balmain x H&M collaboration was announced at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas in May 2015, causing a world-wide fashion frenzy.

Olivier Rousteing is one of the most popular men in the fashion world, with Rihanna and Kim Kardashian among his Best-Forever-Friends-turned-clients, with many stars and A-listers around the globe wearing his pieces. The self-proclaimed king of the fish face selfie is expected to pose up a storm with his supermodel friends at the launch party, flooding Instagram with the fabulousness of the so called #BalmainArmy. 


The history of H&M Collaborators is unbelievably impressive: Karl Lagerfeld, Isabel Marant, Lanvin, Versace, Alexander Wang,  Matthew Williamson and several other huge designer names have brought their haute to the high street in recent years, producing sell-out ranges that get fashion fans queuing round the blocks on launch day. 

In a recent interview, Oliver Rousteing said that when the collection sells out, he wants all fashionistas that got a piece of fashion history, to tag their photos #HMBalmaination. "When it all sells out, I’ll celebrate with a selfie, of course! I want everyone to take pictures in the queue, outside the store, in the changing room and at the till, to show me how they’re wearing the pieces in their own way."


The wait is nearly over!  Balmain x H&M, is launching on 5th November 2015 at H&M stores! Start queuing.
