Featuring Angela Scanlon

Vivacious style icon Angela Scanlon will be presenting London Fashion Weekend’s catwalk shows and trend shows. The team from LFWend caught up with her...

Describe your personal style in three words.

Really quite changeable!

What do you think makes London style unique?
It’s diverse and brave and influenced by so many different things; culture, music, art, weather! London is the most exciting fashion capital and that sense of confidence and creativity spills over onto the streets. It’s a melting pot and a visual dreamboat of a city.

Do you have any role models, when it comes to fashion or otherwise?
I adore Diane Kruger for her polished but eclectic spin, Chloe Sevigny for her love of a throwback and Kate Moss for being the real Queen of London.

What does great style mean to you?
A cashmere jumper, a smile and shoes that don’t rub.

Why are you excited about being part of London Fashion Weekend?
It’s always a joy! Being able to introduce new and brilliant designers to thousands of fashion fans is a real honour and interviewing such a talented bunch is pretty fun too!

Do you experiment with trends or do your own thing?
When you buy clothes you genuinely love, then the seasons become less important... it’s fun to buy current pieces and to experiment but try to identify the things that feel like you!
