Apologie was created by Olivia Cognet in 2012. Fruit of a desire to create a genuine collection of elegant yet accessible shoes, Apologie embodies a uniquely timeless world where modernity meets the classics and whose identity revolves around core values, evidence of its serene foundation.
Apologie is dedicated to the creation of shoes and accessories and believes that fashion should be at once accessibly available in terms of price and extremely exclusive in terms of its selective distribution and business relations. Apologie aims to impose itself at the multi-disciplinary crossroads of art, technique and craftsmanship.

Apologie Artistic Director, Olivia Cognet, associates her luxury footwear savoir-faire and her extensive experience as Accessories Stylist for Carven, Tara Jarmon, Sonia Rykiel, Mugler, Cacharel, Léonard…. In order to provide Apologie with a pragmatic vision of both women’s shoes and the current and ever-changing commercial market in which it finds itself. Olivia Cognet pursued her passion for footwear via her proessional life, so today, she is proud to finally show her own vision of women… trough the name Apologie.
