Fashion Designer - AETER

AETER: Timeless Elegance Reimagined Through Ethical Leather Craftsmanship

AETER is an emerging luxury brand born in Taiwan, founded by visionary designers Chuan Lu and Yi-Lunh Hsu. Inspired by a desire to fuse minimalist aesthetics with meticulous craftsmanship, AETER creates handcrafted leather bags and accessories that redefine modern elegance.

Their brand name, AETER, originates from the Latin word aeternus, meaning eternal. This concept of timelessness is the cornerstone of their design philosophy. For them, eternity is not just about longevity—it is about achieving balance. Balance between form and function, structure and fluidity, tradition and innovation. This ethos inspired their latest collection, “Equilibrium,” which captures the harmony between geometric design and artisanal technique.

Where Industrial Design Meets Traditional Leather Craft

At AETER, their roots lie in industrial design, which deeply influences their approach to fashion. They seamlessly merge modern design methodologies with the rich heritage of traditional leatherworking. This blend allows them to challenge conventional forms and reinterpret them with sleek silhouettes, bold geometry, and minimalist elegance.

Each piece in their collection is a testament to their passion for modernist design, infused with subtle contrasts—understated yet impactful, structured yet organic. AETER designs are created for those who appreciate objects with meaning, precision, and purpose.
