Vertu has launched a
collection of Aster smartphones featuring traditional Arabic zoomorphic
calligraphy, available to buy exclusively online and in store at Selfridges Oxford Street, London.
The Aster Calligraphy
Edition is a new and exclusive collection of Vertu phones that feature
specially commissioned zoomorphic Arabic art.
Designed (in
conjunction with Vertu's dedicated Middle East team) by Washington DC based
craftsmen and calligrapher, Josh Berer, the intricate design depicts a
galloping Arab stallion, cleverly constructed from a celebrated Middle Eastern
expression: "who lives sees, but who travels sees more".

Edition includes a matching case and complimentary engraving and is
available in onyx calf leather with yellow calligraphy, lagoon calf
leather with sky blue calligraphy and orange calf leather with black
calligraphy print.
