TIFFANY & CO. OPENS NEW SELFRIDGES BOUTIQUE AND INSTALLATION
Tiffany & Co. has just opened a new luxury boutique, online and in store at Selfridges Oxford Street, London – complete with an immersive installation from 3 July.
Home to not only the quality craftsmanship but also to the much-loved heritage of the Tiffany brand, the new boutique – located in The Wonder Room on G at Selfridges London – offers Londoners and tourists a truly luxury shopping experience.
Boasting a modern décor and unique ceiling light sculpture by artist Tomas Saraceno, the opulent new space also houses new designs from the Tiffany T collection, available to buy exclusively at the new Selfridges boutique and online until August 2015.
To celebrate the opening of the boutique at Selfridges, Tiffany & Co. has also created an immersive installation titled 'Fifth & 57th' – open to the public from 3 July to 12 July at the Old Selfridges Hotel, Orchard Street, London. Recreating the brand's magical Fifth Avenue world, visitors will enter the installation through the doors of a subway car and stroll the avenue, lined with buildings constructed of hundreds of boxes and light projections of Manhattan's bustling street life.
Charlie's – a bar appropriately named for Mr Tiffany – will be open for cocktails inspired by the Big Apple and will host live musical performances, while coffee and pretzels will be available from a vendor's sidewalk cart. 'Fifth & 57th' will be open to the public from 3 July to 12 July at the Old Selfridges Hotel, Orchard Street, London.
