Head to St Christopher's Place on Thursday 4th of June for a fun filled day of activities aimed at raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Kicking off the event is the return of last year’s famous Cyclathon, which will see a number of teams challenge each other in a virtual race from St Christopher’s Place to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
In association with Fitness First, the teams will race from 8am to 5.30pm in the hope of being crowned this year’s champions. For those coffee connoisseurs, resident cafes, bars and restaurants including Costa, Café Rouge and Apostrophe will be taking part in a fundraising “Coffee Morning” between 10-11am, with all donations going to the ‘One Great Day’ charity fund.
Other fundraising activities will include live music, fun seaside board photo stands and a charity raffle giving shoppers and visitors exclusive luxury prizes and experiences including a weekend stay at one of the St Christopher’s Place apartments! If you would like to get tickets to the raffle, then visit St Christopher’s place from 8am to make a purchase. Whilst you are there make sure to try out the ‘relax and revive’ area boasting mega comfy bean bags and complimentary massages.
And as if that wasn’t enough you will be finishing off the day in true St Christopher’s Place style with live performances from London’s 18 piece big band ‘Any Swing Goes’ led by Glenn Dunn and featuring vocalist Alexandra Howlett, plus a performance from City Academy’s SWING DANCE TROUPE – The Honey Hoppers, inviting shoppers and local workers to enjoy complementary food samples from resident restaurants as the winners of the charity Cyclathon are announced.
